How to find an open RV dump station (and why online lists are wrong)

Dump stations close for repairs, vandalism, drain-field problems and winter. Most finder sites copy old lists. The fix is simple: check the operator's own page the day you go.

• Washington: WSDOT shows a live Open/Closed status for each rest area dump station. On 2026-10-22 we found two listed Closed (Schrag westbound, Silver Lake southbound).
• Oregon: ODOT's TripCheck lists six rest-area dump stations but no live status.
• Idaho: state park pages list dump stations and post closures (Henrys Lake's dump station is closed for the 2025/2026 season; Priest Lake's page says its dump station is closed).

Call ahead if the source has no live status. See WA, OR, ID.
